She has a great command of not only sarcasm but gif usage. And she makes several really good points about just what the fanpoodles are endorsing when they laud The Douchewaffle as an "ideal."

Omg, SO wrong. Any experienced sub would have run from that asshat so fast she'd have left a vapor trail behind her.

They get all hot-and-bothered by this (how, I have no idea, because it's some of the most boring, vanilla sex out there) and think that's the reason the fuckwit is so ideal. For the first time in years, their motor is running again and they think it's him.

Bunch of freaking sheep. Someone told them they were supposed to get turned on, so they go on and on about it. Like the person laughing last at a joke...the ones that probably didn't get it.

From what I understand (and I've not read the actual novel, I read it when it was Masters of the Universe and still Edward/Bella), he changes the rules CONSTANTLY. This may be TMI but every scene I've ever consented to had set rules that, hey, if they were broken PEOPLE GOT THE FUCK OUT OF THERE.

And like, word of mouth spreads about bad Doms and bad subs within the community. There's a difference in "this is kinky and plays at the edges and I like it" and abuse of power. Big one.

If you read MotU, then you've read this. There are some very, very small word changes and then Search and Replace. Dear Author did a comparison and the two are something like 89% the same, the majority of the 11% is the names.

The thing is - she never consents of her own volition, she's coerced into it. So, so wrong. These fanpoodles think they're being all "cutting edge" and this chick doesn't even use words, she uses euphemisms. "Down there" she says, and they think this is porn???

It is one of the very few Twilight fanfics that I have gone back and re-read. Often. It's beautifully done, both in the D/s and the sheer, heartbreaking romance of it.

I hope you like it! It's a quick read and don't let the number of chapters fool you - they're 2-3 page chapters, not the 10K monsters most of them prefer.
