The talking heads keep saying that this is gearing up to be the ugliest election in history, and based on the already combative state of affairs (ie people losing life-long friends over a chicken sandwich), I believe it.

With that in mind, I'm linking to this article which addresses the issue of word choices so much better than I ever could.

I was supremely touched by it for some very personal reasons and felt the need to pass it along with the hopes that maybe one person will think beyond the rage that's been rising to levels I've never seen before.
