Release from data entry hell...even though I was scared to death at the time and reconnecting with my brother.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My kids. They're both finding their own ways in life - youngest through high school, oldest through the transition zone from kid to adult. They're making mistakes, screwing up as much as they get right, but they're remaining the fine young men I raised them to be.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
A very dedicated group that during September-November let passion rule their fingers. And that's probably the nicest way I can say it. And the hatred and venom spewed by the nonnies.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Kids, living expenses that shot through the roof this year
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Twilight Marathon/Breaking Dawn. The lead up, the experience, the movie itself.
16. What song(s) will always remind you of 2012
A Thousand Years, Christina Perri - because it was the perfect song to wrap the Twilight series
Call Me Maybe - as lip-dubbed by the US Swim Team.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
I. happier or sadder? About the same
II. richer or poorer? Poorer - and that's only going to get worse when the 1/1 tax increases hit (unrelated to any cliff jumping)

Smiling, reading, project completion, accepting reality
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?

Quiet times. We spent Christmas Day in our pajamas since it was just the four of us.
21. How will you be spending New Year's?
New Years Eve I will probably be working until 8-9pm since we have a dozen things that need to go live on 1/1 and can't start posting until 5pm on the 31st - then it'll be home to emailing with my BFF and possible game tags

Tom Sturridge, Cam Stewart, Rob and Kris

Shelly. I found myself missing her a lot this year, still not sure why.
38. Who was the best new person you met?
Matt, Holly, Kim, Mary, Kevin, Marcus, Gina, Lauren, Nicole, and Patty - my coworkers/bosses in my new department. They took a chance on sketchily proven skills, appreciated my honesty in my interview where I said "no, I don't know how to do that, but I learn fast," and rescued me from hell. For giving me that chance to prove former boss and HR that a resume does not a skillset make, I will bust my ass for them as often as needed.
