Anyone ever been reading a trilogy, get halfway through the final book...and then not only stop reading but delete the whole freaking thing off a kindle/donate the books to a library?

That just happened. I feel like I need to brush my brain or something to get the bad taste out of it.

Yes. I got through the first two books of the Eragon trilogy (now quartet, but at the time it was supposed to be a trilogy), then slogged through the first 100 pages of the third and gave up. I can't get through any of them now.

It's so frustrating. I just wish I could get those hours of my life back. The whole time I'm thinking...no...no, can't happen...can't happen. Then it did. I went to amazon, read a few of the 1 star reviews, and deleted the whole thing.

I will finish reading if my ship doesn't happen. I did with the Iron Fey - still don't like the way it went, but I finished the series.

In this one it was HOW it happened that had me going to the delete button.
