An update of sorts

eibbil_libbieHaven't posted much here lately, but I wrote a filtered recap of the past month for my game post, so I'll toss it here for those still reading and not in the game.
Been sort of a crap month, tbh. Simple roof-shingle replacement turned into nearly $2k in home repairs, still a boatload of job-uncertainty with our company being swallowed by a bigger fish and that's lead to tension you could cut at work, one kid playing on two soccer teams, car repairs, kid 2 getting his license, waiting for the Email of Doom that will let me know how much I have to fork over for taxes (praying it's under $3k,) abandoning the book blog due to lack of external interest, and a general lack of my normal escape from any of it apart from reading, the #the host tag on tumblr, and Candy Crush. But my alien's movie starts this week (omg Friday!) and I have a soccer-free weekend to hit up as many viewings as I can. The rest...will work itself out. It always does.
