Love it. Wish the people round me got fandomness. I'd feel a little bit less disconnected and freakish.

That's how I felt in my old department. Five years of getting the blank stare when I said anything remotely "Internet-y".

I used "interwebs" once, and two said "I think it's called 'internet'." I nearly gave myself a concussion from the faceplant.
